Now the Recipe for Fall off the bone BBQ Baby Back Ribs:

Ingredients:

  • 2 large onions
  • 1 bottle of beer
  • 1 or 2 racks of baby back ribs
  • Salt and pepper
  • BBQ Sauce (your favorite kind)

Directions:

Preheat over to 350 degrees. Slice onion long ways in fairly thick slices and place on a sheet pan with a lip to make a bed for the ribs to lay on. Prepare ribs by removing the fat from the bone side of the ribs; this is the thin fatty layer on the back of the ribs, not ‘marbled’ fat. If you get an edge of the fat up it usually peels pretty easily off the bone. Season the ribs with salt and pepper on both sides. Place the cleaned ribs on top of the bed of onions, pour the bottle of beer over top and cover the whole pan tightly with foil. Bake in the oven covered for 3 hours. Remove ribs from oven, baste with BBQ sauce and put on the grill (use pam or a high heat cooking spray to season the grill so the ribs don’t get stuck to the grill.) The ribs are done at this point, so just keep them on the grill long enough to add a little char to the bbq sauce and ribs.

Serve with corn boiled in water, salt, and butter.
